UBM Fashion will launch a West Coast version of its New York trade show, Children's Club, in Las Vegas this August under the name Children's Club MAGIC.
Evolving from the trade show Playground, which already was a part of MAGIC, Children's Club MAGIC will build upon that show's contemporary fashion roster to include the powerhouse brands and diverse retail audience that Children's Club is known for.
The show will take place every February and August at MAGIC alongside WWDMAGIC, PROJECT, FN PLATFORM and other high-profile UBM fashion markets.

The world of broadcasting has changed dramatically since the first National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Convention at New York’s Commodore Hotel in October of 1923. Back then, “broadcasting” meant merely a limited number of AM radio stations and neither the NBC or CBS radio networks even existed yet.
Only 23 members attended that first meeting, where session topics included government regulation and “The Future of Broadcasting.”

JCK Las Vegas, the flagship show of Jewelry Market Week, began its 2016 show June 3 with a revamped shopping experience utilizing the new expansion of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. From the new entrance straight from the parking lot to a redesigned floorplan, it sparkled with jewels and inspiration.

Candied bacon and cold beer were just some of the offerings that whet the appetites of attendees at the Reed Exhibitions’ National Hardware Show that took place May 5-7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. A global gathering of products for DIY home improvement, the event spanned about 600,000 net sq. ft., similar to last year, and featured 2,800 exhibitors, including 700 first-timers. After several years working with other host cities, TRANSACT, powered by the Electronic Transaction Association (ETA), returned to Las Vegas for the first of four annual events. TRANSACT 16 drew the highest number of participants for the show in Las Vegas to date.
The show, held April 19-21 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, had 65 new exhibitors on the floor and more than 700 first-time attendees. It also had a record number of countries represented at the show.

Las Vegas top meetings and convention experts came together April 14 to celebrate the first Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) at the newly opened T-Mobile Arena.
The event marked the expansion of North American Meetings Industry Day, held earlier this year and was spearheaded by the Meetings Mean Business Coalition and Convention Industry Council.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) launched a Virtual Reality Companion app that helps transport trade show delegates and would-be visitors alike to popular attractions in the No. 1 city for top trade shows in the U.S.
Now, taking a tour of the Grand Canyon, riding in a gondola at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino or taking a zipline through the downtown streets is possible from anywhere in the world.
