UBM Sinoexpo, the Shanghai-based joint venture (JV) company of UBM Asia, has formed a new JV with the Guzhen Town Governmentof Zhongshan City in China’s Guangdong Province through a cooperation agreement. The new JV will become the management company of the China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair. The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) reported good performance on the back of a 12% growth for the MICE industry in the first three quarters this year (October 2012 – June 2013). During the nine-month period, Thailand received a total of 747,072 foreign MICE travellers generating 64 billion Baht (US$2.0 billion) in revenues. Facebook recently made an update to its Page Terms that will help event organizers boost user engagement for their Facebook promotional campaigns. Earlier, brands were required to  use a third party app to run a raffle or contest based on Facebook's engagement features, but this policy has been revoked with the latest changes to the 'Facebook Page Terms'.
