Global Sources’ Mobile Electronics and Gift & Home Experiences Fast Growth
Mobile Electronics, second phase of Global Sources Electronics, was held April 18-21 at Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), with a strong focus on smartphone, tablets, wearable devices and mobile accessories.
“In just two years, the event has grown by more than 100% to become the world’s largest mobile electronics sourcing show,” said Tommy Wong, president of Global Sources.
Key highlight of this year’s event is the Startup Launchpad, which is an integrated B2B sourcing platform and conference program, aiming to showcase the latest tech products from startups.
The conference program is designed around the topic of startup lifecycle from product ideation, validation, manufacturing to distribution.
Concurrently, Global Sources’ 2016 spring Gifts & Home also opened at AWE from 18th to 21st April. Highlight of the show is the three-day Smart China Sourcing Summit where attendees can learn the best practices for selling on Amazon.
Another highlight is the value added services offered by Global Sources. The show has TradeMatch, which allows buyers to submit buying requests, compare quotes, and communicate with suppliers through Global Sources’ Message Center. In addition, there is a buyer app and supplier app to facilitate the sourcing process and strengthen communication between buyers and exhibitors.
