Reed Exhibitions has partnered deal with the China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition General Corporation to co-produce Pollutec China, a major international environment protection trade event set to debut in South China next year.
The agreement is an important development following Reed's successful strategic agreement with the China Foreign Trade Centre (CFTC) in January of 2015.
Starting in 2016, Pollutec China will debut as a show focused on industrial environment protection, treatment and resource optimization in China, Asia’s biggest market.

Fi & Hi India 2015, organised by UBM India, was held from 19th to 21st October 2015, at Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) in Mumbai. Fi & Hi India, which has already been on for 10 years, is the only B2B platform for the Indian food and health industry. This year’s show featured over 160 exhibitors and drew over 6,500 visitors.
It has been confirmed that Fi & Hi India 2016 will be held from 22th to 24th August 2016, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The show will return Mumbai in 2017. Fi & Hi India 2017 will be held Oct. 3-5, 2017, at BCEC.

Reed Exhibitions has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with COEX to co-organise the Franchise Seoul through the project-based joint venture (JV), which is expected to be concluded by end of this year. It is a bold leap forward for Reed Exhibitions in South Korea, following its successful JV partnership with K. Fairs Ltd., a local event organiser, to host Kormarine, the second largest maritime industry event in Asia.

Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) launched 2016 Fiscal Year Kick Off, announced its plan to bring in regional media conferences of global scale.
The first event to note is the 14th CNBC Asia Business Leader Award 2015, which will take place from 28th to 29th October 2015, at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. Airgate Holdings, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ITE Group, has acquired an additional 31.7% share of Mumbai-based ABEC Exhibitions for around £14 million (US$21 million). Including the 28.3% share acquired in December 2012, ITE Group now holds up to 60% share of ABEC.
ABEC Exhibitions is a leading exhibition organiser in India, running over 20 events across industries from building & interiors, oil & gas to fashion. Holding the remaining 40% of the company shares, Sumit Gandhi, Chairman, and Manish Grandhi, COO, will retain their roles at ABEC.

Laying the foundation for the eventual departure of Joe Loggia, CEO of UBM Advanstar, at the end of the year, UBM Americas has made several new appointments to its U.S.-based Fashion Group, including bringing Chris DeMoulin back into the fold.
DeMoulin, who previously oversaw Advanstar's fashion business, serving as president of the biannual MAGIC series of shows from 2008–2012, was named managing director of Fashion for UBM Americas, reporting directly to Simon Foster, CEO of UBM Americas.

More than 180 attendees, including fastest-growing show winners representing the top 50 shows, as well as their guests and sponsors, all came together to celebrate at the 2015 TSNN Awards Nov. 6-8 in Atlanta.
