Emerald Expositions acquired the National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo (“Fastener Expo”) from Jim Bannister and Mike McGuire, the show’s co-owners. Reed Exhibitions has partnered deal with the China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition General Corporation to co-produce Pollutec China, a major international environment protection trade event set to debut in South China next year. The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (“HKCEC”) has recently revamped its website, (www.hkcec.com), adopting the new ‘Responsive’ technology.  It is now fully available for desktop as well as mobile phones, tablets and other mobile devices with different screen sizes and configurations. More than 70 percent of the 20,000 daily visitors use their mobile devices to visit the HKCEC website. Laying the foundation for the eventual departure of Joe Loggia, CEO of UBM Advanstar, at the end of the year, UBM Americas has made several new appointments to its U.S.-based Fashion Group, including bringing Chris DeMoulin back into the fold.
