The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) boards of directors recently signed a letter of intent to launch a new combined event in the Fall of 2014.
The collocated event will serve the entire advanced materials and composites industry in North America.

Upwards of 30,000 attendees flocked to the Fabulous Food Show Nov. 9-11 at Cleveland’s International Exposition (I-X) Center to not only see celebrity chefs such as Michael Symon, Guy Fieri and Jacques Pépin, but also sample delicacies ranging from chocolate-covered bacon to an array of regional cheeses.

AMC’s LIGHTFAIR International typically rotates annually between the West and East, with its long-time Western home being Las Vegas, but in 2016, the show decided to change things up a bit and head to San Diego instead.

China isn’t the only country in the Asia-Pacific region that companies continue to eye for acquisition opportunities, markets such as Indonesia and Malaysia, among others, also are gaining a lot of attention.

The 79th Annual UFI Congress wrapped up Nov. 8 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in Abu Dhabi with a record number of 475 attendees from 55 countries who gathered to pinpoint where there were areas of growth in the exhibition industry.
UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, which represents exhibition organizers, venue managers and partners of the industry, has seen its own organization grow in leaps and bounds recently as it surpassed the 600-member organization mark and now numbers 612 from 85 countries in its global membership.

Reed Hongda Exhibitions (Henan) Co., Ltd., part of Reed Exhibitions Greater China, signed an agreement with Shanghai Gehua Exhibition Planning Co., Ltd. to acquire a 100-percent stake in the Shanghai International Auto Decoration Supplies Sourcing Fair (CSAE) and all of the show’s assets.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The ATC Show 2012, made up of All in CARAVANING 2012 and All in TUNING 2012 in Beijing, had an impressive debut for the growing RVand camping industry in China.
