Exhibition industry leaders from across Latin America are heading to Mexico at the end of August for two major industry events: Reed Exhibitions Mexico’s ICOMEX, and the AMPROFEC annual congress. The International Association of Exhibitions and Events completed its Krakoff Leadership Institute and Krakoff Advanced Leadership Institute, held Aug. 15-18, at the Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Fla. Organised by China International Exhibitions, ProPak China (The International Processing and Packaging Exhibition) ran from 15th to 17th July. The exhibition attracted 733 companies from 27 countries and regions. The largest group of independent exhibitors came from China. The show drew a total of 17,322 visitors, with over 88% of them from China. There were also nearly 2,000 visitors from 77 different international markets.
