The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has released a travel advisory warning African-Americans about their safety and wellbeing when traveling on American Airlines flights.
In a statement released Oct. 24, the nation’s oldest and largest social justice advocacy organization stated that it has been monitoring “a pattern of disturbing incidents” involving troublesome conduct by American Airlines that suggest a corporate culture of racial insensitivity and possible racial bias on the part of the airline.

The National Broadcasting Association made some substantial changes to its NAB Show New York this year changes that contributed to a different kind of feel for the show. They brought more energy and excitement to the already innovative event, which was held Oct. 18-19.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s (TMG) plan to close Tokyo’s largest purpose-built exhibition venue, Tokyo Big Sight (TBS), during the 2020 Summer Olympics has led to street protests by Japan’s exhibition industry association.
TBS will be used as the international press centre during the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. As a result of this plan, about 300 members of the Japan Exhibition Association (JEXA) protested outside the offices of the TMG on 5th October.
