Global Sources’ fall edition of its Gifts & Home show  opened on 18th October, 2015 and concluded on the 21st. The exhibition was held at Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE). It featured over 3,200 booths of gifts, premiums and home products. This year’s theme was focused on moving towards smart, creative and eco-friendly products that are in-demand from a wide variety of consumer markets. The 8th edition of Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will take place from 5th to 7th November 2015, at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The HKTDC reports that this year, the show will feature over 1,000 exhibitors from 31 countries and regions. Over 300 exhibitors come from France and Italy, with other group pavilions from countries such as Australia, Mexico, South Africa, Spain and Japan. The September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair (September Fair), organised by UBM Asia, held its 33rd edition this week. The trade fair runs from 16th to 20th September and is held at two venues. At AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), it will be held from 18th to 22nd September. The finished jewellery section will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Philippines-based PHILCONSTRUCT was recently held in Manila. Filling three key venues (SMX Convention Center, World Trade Center Metro Manila, and the Philippine Trade Training Center), PHILCONSTRUCT attracted more than 1,500 exhibitors from dozens of countries including Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, China, Germany, Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. Now in its 25th year, the construction exhibition attracted more than 75,000 trade visitors. Earlier this week, Nasdaq-listed Global Sources hosted 3,700 booths at its China Sourcing Fair’s fall electronics show at Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE). The show was held from 11th to 14th October including three electronics-focused events: Electronics & Components, Security Products, and the Korea Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components.
