FISITA 2012 Exhibition Will Debut Alongside FISITA World Automotive Congress in Beijing

The Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE-China) and NürnbergMesse China will debut the FISITA 2012 International Exhibition for Automotive Engineering and Manufacturing alongside the longstanding FISITA World Automotive Congress in Beijing.

Both events will run Nov. 27-3,0 and the FISITA 2012 Exhibition is expected to draw 12,000 attendees and 200 exhibitors.

Five exhibition segments provide global automotive players with an opportunity to present their services: Energy-efficient vehicles, Engine – Transmission – Powertrain, Car Body, Automotive Electronics and Manufacturing Equipment.

FISITA World Automotive Congress has been hosted since 1947 by the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés d’Ingénieurs des Techniques de l’Automobile.

OEMS around the globe, such as Toyota (Japan), BMW Group and Volkswagen (Germany), FAW and Geely (China) and General Motors (US).

International participation at the show is expected to be complemented by one third of the exhibitors coming from China, according to show organizers.

Around 200 exhibiting companies are expected in the five trade show segments, which include energy efficient vehicles, advanced powertrain and transmission and drivelines, as well as electronics, safety solutions and manufacturing technologies.

This year’s FISITA World Automotive Congress mainly will focus on the subject of “Automobiles and Mobility in a Low Carbon Economy – China and the World”.

With FISITA 2012 Exhibition, NürnbergMesse China adds another event to the Automotive Engineering Portfolio of the NürnbergMesse Group.

The show’s co-founder, SAE China, was started in 1963 and is a national and academic body corporate and a nonprofit organization composed voluntarily by enterprises, institutions, incorporations and professionals in the fields of automotive and relative industries which focus on research, design, manufacturing, education, sales and management.
