New Speciality & Fine Food Fair in Singapore in 2017
Specialty & Fine Food Fair, positioned as London’s greatest gourmet trade-only event, will launch its first event in Asia next year. The inaugural Speciality & Fine Food Asia will be held at Suntec, Singapore from 18th to 20th July 2017. Organised by the U.K.-based Fresh Montgomery, the new show will showcase innovative artisanal food and drink from across the globe. Other than gourmet products, the fair will incorporate activities including a chefs’ demonstration theatre, a business forum and a artisan food producers start-up village. The show will co-located with the Speciality Chocolate Fair, positioned as Singapore’s first trade event focused on premium chocolate.
By targeting fine food and drink producers and potential buyers, the organiser aims to achieve similar results to the U.K. specialty fairs, which draw over 850 exhibitors and 12,000 trade attendees.
Christopher McCuin, Group Business Development Director for Fresh Montgomery and Montgomery Asia stated, “These two new shows will bring the vibrancy, buzz and excitement buyers love about our much-heralded London event to Asia – creating a new centre for food innovation. These are exciting times, not just for Fresh Montgomery but for the fine food industry as a whole. We can’t wait for the doors to open.”
