Reed’s Japan IT Week Spring Grows 10% in Space

Reed Exhibitions Japan’s 24th edition of the Japan IT Week Spring show recently closed at the Tokyo Big Sight venue recording 10% growth in total exhibition space over its previous edition. A total of 1,487 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions were hosted across 12 specialised exhibitions.

According to Reed, 83,683 trade visitors from the IT industry attended the umbrella show, which included the launch of the inaugural CONSUMER IT PRODUCTS EXPO (C-PEX). Other specialised exhibitions highlighted by Reed on size growth include the IoT/M2M EXPO, INFORMATION SECURITY EXPO, WEB & DIGITAL MARKETING EXPO and the DATA STORAGE EXPO.

Group and national pavilions hosted this year saw participation from India, China, Belgium, Korea, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Bangladesh and the Philippines. Additionally, the show supported a total of 91 conference sessions held in parallel to the exhibitions, which was attended by a record high of 26,429 delegates – up 140% over last year’s session.

The next edition of Japan IT Week Spring will be held from 11th to 13th May 2016 at Tokyo Big Sight.
