ASAE will offer different ways for participants to learn including sound-byte learning and Ignite, according to association executives.

The three-day technology conference starts with the third annual CIO Summit that will focus on the changing role of the CIO, the top three trends impacting associations, , the types of non-technology skills needed in leadership roles, and how to connect their skill set with the needs of their association.

Brian Solis, author and thought leader on the impact of social media and disruptive technology on business and consumer behavior, will be the Opening General Session speaker.

He will provide a new perspective about the world of business and how to connect with a rising audience through new touchpoints between consumers, brands, and new influencers.

He will look at how social media, next-gen mobility, cloud, big data, and other key technology mega-trends are rapidly reshaping market opportunity and competitive positioning in industries of every kind.

In addition to the conference sessions, ASAE will bring back the two-day Expo Hall, as well as the Technology Town Hall.

The Town Hall will explore the current state of technology in associations and its implications for the future.

Participants will vote in real-time with their mobile device, and they will talk about major trends facing associations and how to apply it to their strategic vision moving forward.
