According to the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), Singapore’s business events sector posted 15% year-on-year growth in 2016. With more than 410 business events supported by STB in 2016, close to 33,000 visitor arrivals were recorded. This represents a 20% increase compared with 2015. Approximately related revenues of S$611 million (US$430 million) were generated as a result of these visits, representing a year-on-year 28% increase. The 2017 Medical Design and Manufacturing (MD&M) West Conference brought manufacturing of the future into the present day at the Anaheim Convention Center.
