Preliminary estimates indicate the successful Asian Attractions Expo (AAE) 2017 in Singapore attracted more than 7,500 participants, including 5,100 qualified buyers and 375 exhibiting companies. The continued growth of the attractions industry within the Asia-Pacific region was evident at the Expo. More than 50 percent of buyers attended AAE for the first time. International exhibition organiser, Informa Exhibitions, announced the company has formed a joint venture company with the organiser of Chengdu China Building & Decoration Exposition (CCBD), Chengdu Tianyi Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. The new JV named the Informa Tianyi Exhibitions (Chengdu) Company. CCBD organises a leading building and decoration B2B exhibition in western China. Reed Exhibitions Greater China appointed Josephine Lee to the role of COO, effective April 1. Lee takes up the appointment after several successful years as senior vice president and later in 2016 as executive vice president of Reed Exhibitions Greater China.  In this new position, in addition to sales and marketing responsibilities, Lee will oversee Reed Greater China’s entire portfolio of events, as well as the operations team.
