Malaysia will host Asia’s future leading architects in 2014 when they convene in the country for the 16th Asian Congress of Architects 2014 (ACA 2014). The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) and the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM) announced the congress will take place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. This year was a very good one for the MICE industry in Thailand, with targeted visitor numbers for 2012 of 750,000 being exceeded by 19 percent to 895,224 visitors. "Thailand's MICE industry is growing strongly despite the economic crises in Europe and USA. According to Hong Kong’s Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Greg So Kam-leung, the special administrative region’s government has no current plans to expand the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Trade fair organiser Fiera Milano (through its joint venture Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai), ANCI Servizi, and Shanghai Fashion Week announced the signing of an agreement to organise a Shanghai edition of the international shoe event Micam.
