The Association of Equipment Manufacturers’ Megan Tanel has been named the 2018 TSNN Awards Industry Icon Honoree and will be celebrated at an awards gala held during the Aug. 10-12 weekend in Louisville, Ky. “I am beyond humbled to be receiving the TSNN Industry Icon Award,” Tanel said. In a move that CEO Tom Baugh has labeled as “highly strategic,” B2C home shows producer, Marketplace Events, has purchased three Atlanta-based home shows from SEMCO Productions. U.K.-based Tarsus Group has taken steps to increase the pace of its growing presence in Asia by announcing the addition of two new members to its Asian senior management team. At the same time, it has increased its ownership of the Shenzhen based joint venture Shenzhen Shengshi Jiuzhou Exhibition Co., Ltd.
