AI Meets Events: Inside the Launch of Event Copilot

A groundbreaking new tool is entering the event technology space, promising to transform how attendees interact with conferences—and how organizers manage them. Trade Show Logic, a full-service show management company, and TurnoutNow, a company that leverages AI, machine learning and analytics to create business solutions in the live event space, have partnered to launch eventCopilot, an AI-powered engagement platform built specifically for the events industry.
Designed to act as an always-on concierge, eventCopilot already completed it first full deployment at the NAMA Show, a B2B trade show for convenience services set for May 7-9 in Las Vegas.
The move comes after Tradeshow Logic successfully piloted its proprietary AI assistant, Expo Navigator, at major industry events, including the NGAUS General Conference & Exhibition and NAB Show New York, in 2024. Seeking to scale the concept, the company turned to TurnoutNow, a tech firm with deep roots in AI, location intelligence, and behavioral analytics.
“We launched Expo Navigator to solve real problems for attendees and organizers,” said BJ Enright, president and CEO of Tradeshow Logic. “But we knew we could do more. eventCopilot bridges the gap between attendees, exhibitors, and organizers—creating personalized experiences, increasing exhibitor visibility, and generating meaningful engagement across the show floor.”

To find out more about its applications for events, we sat down for a demo of the product and an interview with Enright and Harpreet Chatha, founder and CEO of TurnoutNow. Here’s what we learned.
What is Event Copilot?
Like ChatGPT but reimagined for events, eventCopilot combines generative AI with purpose-built integrations to assist attendees in real time. Whether finding a keynote session, booking a meeting, or navigating the expo floor, the tool delivers personalized, voice-activated support directly through event apps, websites, or even SMS.
“eventCopilot represents the future of event intelligence and engagement,” Chatha said. “Our collaboration with Tradeshow Logic ensures this platform is not only grounded in strategy but also purpose-built to serve the entire event community.”
Built on TurnoutNow’s legacy of innovation, including PeerConnect for attendee-to-attendee networking and CognitiveSearch for AI-powered search, the eventCopilot platform unifies these capabilities into a single, customizable tool for show organizers.
Benefits for Events
For show organizers, eventCopilot eliminates the need to manually preload fixed answers. It automatically pulls content from websites, APIs, PDFs, and videos—supporting real-time updates and multilingual functionality.

Key features include:
- Rapid Setup: Events can be up and running in hours by linking content sources via URL or API.
- Deep Personalization: Understands user preferences and evolves with behavior.
- Seamless Integration: Compatible with existing systems like Map Your Show, Swapcard, and more.
- Voice and Text Interfaces: Supports 45+ languages by voice and 100+ by text.
- Data Insights: Includes a post-show dashboard with analytics on attendee engagement, popular queries, and content gaps.
“It’s not just an answer engine—it’s an action engine,” Chatha said. “It takes your content and makes it intelligent.”
Strategic and Scalable
Trade Show Logic is positioning eventCopilot as both a plug-and-play tool for small organizations and a deeply strategic layer for large-scale shows. Based on attendee volume, pricing starts at around $1,500 for events with less than 500 attendees and goes up to about $11,500 for events with more than 20,000 attendees.
“Some of the smallest shows—under 100 attendees—are finding tremendous value,” Chatha shared. “They’re wearing a dozen hats, and this takes pressure off the team.”
For larger organizations, the platform can be monetized by prioritizing sponsors in recommendations or enabling exhibitors to purchase enhanced visibility or engagement features.
Next-Level Engagement
Enright emphasized that the real power of eventCopilot comes from how it’s deployed.
“This isn’t just technology for technology’s sake,” she said. “We help clients figure out what they actually want this AI to do for their event, and then we tailor it to accomplish that.”
Deployed at two corporate events by Fortune 500 companies this spring, the tool is already gaining traction.
