Shepard Exposition Services to Launch ‘Make an Impact’ Campaign at IAEE Expo! Expo! in December

November 23, 2022

Full-service event production company Shepard Exposition Services is bolstering its mission to serve customers, partners and the community while bringing the exhibitions industry together with the “Make an Impact” campaign, set to officially kick off at the International Association of Exhibition and Events (IAEE) Expo! Expo! 2022

At “The Show of Shows,” set for Dec. 13-15 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Ken., Shepard’s philanthropic spirit will be on full display, as it encourages attendees to stop by its event booth #434 to learn about the company and explore impactful event solutions, as well as participate in an interactive basketball game that will support The United Way’s efforts to reduce food insecurity.

“The 'Make an Impact' campaign embodies Shepard’s mission and commitment to serve, and we are honored to integrate this giving opportunity into our Expo! Expo! booth," said Kevin Bird, executive vice president of Shepard. "For more than 100 years, our company has operated with a service-focused culture. We support the communities in which we live and work and encourage our employees to give back."

Within the booth at this year’s Expo! Expo!, Shepard will be hosting its Play It Forward basketball arcade challenge, which will help raise awareness for those in need and offer attendees a bit of fun, friendly competition while supporting a great cause. For each game played by attendees, Shepard will donate $10 to provide meals for underserved families, with a goal to raise $5,000 through its partnership with The United Way. Participants will also be entered into a raffle to win a special prize.

“Through events, we stay connected, drive business and have the power to make an impact,” Bird said, adding that the campaign reflects the company’s commitment to honor its customers every step of the way. “Our strength is our employees, and they've done a terrific job designing, developing and executing this campaign to unify our company and industry community to give back."

"Make an Impact" will continue through 2023. For more information about the campaign and the positive impact Shepard is having on its community, customers and partners, click here.
