October 16, 2018

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) has partnered with event-data analytics company, Bear Analytics, to provide advanced data analytics solutions and a team of analysts to enhance attendance data management for Expo! Expo!, IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition, set for Dec. 11-13 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

“IAEE is at the center of our industry – we are excited to bring our newest suite of solutions to grow the engagement, discussion and qualified attendance in New Orleans this year,” said Joe Colangelo, CEO and co-founder of Bear Analytics, which helps show organizers transform their collected data into actionable information to help improve event health and accelerate growth.

Bear Analytics is also partnering with IAEE to bring Expo! Expo! attendees the TechBar, which will be located in the lobby near registration and will provide attendees with a space to learn about the emerging technologies being featured at the show.

Previously, Bear Analytics has delivered a number of its flagship solutions into its engagement with IAEE, including:

  • Data Launchpad – a data solution that cleans and consolidates data from multiple external databases to discover performance trends.
  • Audience Heartbeat – the audience profiling solution that defines an event audience across 120 individual and organizational metrics.
  • Audience Pulse – the latest tool that Bear has developed that emphasizes next-level forecasting, pacing and current registration microanalysis to contextualize micro-targeted email campaigns, leading to week-to-week gains in conversion.

Bear Analytics has also involved a team of event-data analysts to work alongside IAEE to interpret data as it surfaces and advise IAEE’s event-marketing team in real-time – ensuring interpretation leads to activation and measurable ROI.

“Our team is leveraging valuable insights from our Bear Analytics partnership on a weekly basis,” said Scott Craighead, IAEE vice president of Exhibitions and Events.

He continued, “It’s enabling us to have a deeper understanding of our customer base and be able to adopt a more agile marketing approach – leading to higher conversions.”
