In the face of ongoing protests in Hong Kong, B2B media company, Global Sources, opened its Mobile Electronics trade show at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) on 18th October. Featuring more than 3,700 booths, the show ran until 21st October.

Products showcased at the show included charging products, mobile speakers and earphones, wearable electronics, smartphones and tablets, protective cases and repair tools, accessories and services.

The event’s “AIoT Park” focused on 5G technology and the Internet of Things (IoT). Leaders from the smart home industry presented at the show highlighting how to create the smart home experience and adding connected home appliances to the product mix.

In addition to the AIoT Park, the Mobile Electronics show launched a new section, Tech Gifts featuring 400 booths of electronic technology-based gift products, novelty objects and high-end custom gifts in four product key areas: branding & exclusive products, personal electronic gifts, tech & gadgets and corporate gifts.
