The Offshore Technology Conference unveiled at its recent event in Houston that it will take its show overseas next year to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. OTC Asia 2014 will take place March 25-28 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Some 30 Navy Chiefs, Coast Guard Directors-General and heads of maritime agencies in the Asia-Pacific region and worldwide will be taking part in IMDEX Asia 2013 May 14-16 at the Changi Exhibition Centre (CEC) in Singapore. In its 8th year, InfoComm China 2013 continues to grow, drawing 19,431 attendees, a 20-percent increase compared with the 2012 show, to the China National Convention Center in Beijing. TIPREX 2013, 4th Thai International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition, held recently in Bangkok, scored a 25-percent increase in not only exhibitor participation, but also visitors to the event. Sydney Showground officials took the opportunity at the recent Exhibition and Events Association of Australasia 2013 Leaders Forum to announce they were adding 8,000 square meters of exhibition space onto their facility, with a total footprint of 11,000 sq. m. added.
