Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai will launch Metal + Tech 2018 from 27th to 30th November at Guangdong Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Jointly organised by Deutsche Messe AG, Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai and Guangzhou Xuanhua Exhibition Co., Ltd., Metal + Tech will occupy an exhibition area of 20,000 m2, showcasing some 100 companies from more than 10 countries and regions. Eleven European-based international association events delivered almost RM50 million ($11.8 million) in economic impact to Malaysia in 2018.
The events attracted 11,960 delegates and were all held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre), Malaysia’s premier award-winning purpose-built AIPC (International Association of Congress Centres) Gold Standard venue.
These events were amongst the Centre’s 1,189 held this year to-date (until 31 October 2018), which have been attended by over 1.85 million participants and contributed RM788 million in economic impact to the country.

The 13th edition of the show, held Oct. 25-28 in Hong Kong, welcomed a record 14,824 visitors from 106 countries and regions.
With 54 percent of visitors coming from outside of Hong Kong, the expo lived up to its billing as an international gathering point for the environmental protection industry.

UBM Asia concluded the 36th edition of its September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair (September Fair), attracting a total of 54,142 visitors to the two venues in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE). The fair was unexpectedly closed for one day, 16th September, due to Typhoon Mangkhut.
Covering an exhibition area of 135,000 m2 across the two venues, a record 3,730 suppliers from 54 countries and regions showcased their products.

Hannover, Germany-based mega-show CEBIT, which was focused on computers and in its height attracted up to 1 million attendees, will no longer exist as a standalone event, according to Deutsche Messe officials.
Deutsche Messe is streamlining its event portfolio and will integrate CEBIT's industry-related topics into the HANNOVER MESSE event, while also developing additional CEBIT topics into specialist events for decision-makers from vertical industries.

Julia Spangler is a sustainable events consultant and speaker specializing in waste diversion and zero waste events. Her website urges people to make sustainability a part of their events’ success stories and her services include green events, green weddings and helping venues become more sustainable. Spangler also recently launched an online course, “How to Plan Zero Waste Events,” that teaches event organizers how to keep waste out of the landfill, improve guest satisfaction and achieve zero-waste results.
