Suntec Singapore Scores the ‘World’s Leading Meetings & Conference Centre’ Award

Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre (Suntec Singapore) was named the ‘World’s Leading Meetings & Conference Centre’ at the Grand Final of the 2014 World Travel Awards (WTA).

At the awards, held at the CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa in the Caribbean island of Anguilla, Suntec Singapore emerged tops in the Meetings and Conventions category.

The World Travel Awards has been rewarding and celebrating excellence across the travel and tourism industry globally since 1993.

It has been accredited as ‘the Oscars of the travel industry’ and is recognized all around the world as the ultimate travel accolade.

The top award of the World’s Leading Meetings and Convention Centre was established in 2010 and serves to identify the crème de la crème of the industry.

Suntec Singapore’s recent SGD 180 million modernisation programme paid particular attention to flexibility, functionality and convertibility.

A high degree of advanced technology has been integrated in order to anticipate clients' evolving needs, while maintaining consistent quality across the board.

The Centre’s focus on service excellence, new technology and customisable flexible space has put it at the forefront of the MICE industry.
