wire and Tube China 2012 Breaks Exhibitor, Visitor Records
Recently closed in Shanghai , the biannual wire China 2012, the 5th All China - International Wire and Cable Industry Trade Fair, and Tube China 2012, the 4th All China - International Tube and Pipe Trade Fair, wrapped up with record results - 1,399 exhibitors presented the latest machinery and products from the wire, cable and tube processing industries to 33,469 visitors.
The event was organized by Messe Düsseldorf, Messe Düsseldorf China and their local partners Metallurgical Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (MC-CCPIT) and Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute (SECRI).
“As the organizer of wire & Tube Düsseldorf – the leading international trade fairs for wire, cable and tubes – we are very proud to register the rapid growth of wire & Tube China in Shanghai as well as its development into Asia’s largest wire, cable and tube trade fair,” said Werner M. Dornscheidt, president and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf.
The exhibitors at wire China 2012 presented systems for wire manufacturing and processing, tools and auxiliary materials for process engineering as well as materials and special wires. Current trends for cables, measuring and control technology completed the ranges.
The Tube China 2012 exhibitors showcased the entire cross-section from tube finishing to tube processing. Products ranged from raw materials, tubes and accessories to machinery for tube and tools manufacturing and process engineering.
In addition to the strong Chinese participation, wire and Tube China 2012 featured many European exhibitors in addition to the traditionally well-represented countries, such as North America, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
The next wire and Tube China will be held Sept. 24-27, 2014, in Shanghai.
