FISA, the organizer of ExpoHosptial 2016, 6th International Exhibition of Technologies, Products and Services for Hospitals, Clinics and Laboratories, recently appointed Messe Düsseldorf North America to represent the event in the United States.

Preparation for Messe Frankfurt’s Music China 2016 is in full swing, with 90 percent of the exhibition area reserved. The 2016 edition will be expanded to 10 halls, occupying 113,000 square meters of the exhibition area Oct. 26-29 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in China.

On the heels of buying U.S.-based fashion trade show portfolio, Business Journals Inc. last week, U.K.-based UBM now will launch IFF MAGIC Japan, a new joint venture between MAGIC and JFW-International Fashion Fair, Japan’s longest running, bi-annual fashion business tradeshow organized by publisher Senken Shimbun.

Mobile Electronics, second phase of Global Sources Electronics, was held April 18-21 at Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), with a strong focus on smartphone, tablets, wearable devices and mobile accessories.

Lew Shomer, chairman of 5NET4 Productions and Abilities Expos, found his way into the trade show industry like many others when he was vice president of marketing for a modem manufacturer in the 1980’s.
