IBTM China, part of IBTM’s global portfolio of meetings and events industry trade shows and the most established event of its kind in China, has announced first details of its 2019 edition. The event will take place Aug. 28-29 at China National Convention Centre (CNCC) in Beijing. The 13th edition of the show, held Oct. 25-28 in Hong Kong, welcomed a record 14,824 visitors from 106 countries and regions. With 54 percent of visitors coming from outside of Hong Kong, the expo lived up to its billing as an international gathering point for the environmental protection industry. UBM Asia concluded the 36th edition of its September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair (September Fair), attracting a total of 54,142 visitors to the two venues in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE). The fair was unexpectedly closed for one day, 16th September, due to Typhoon Mangkhut. Eleven European-based international association events delivered almost RM50 million ($11.8 million) in economic impact to Malaysia in 2018. The events attracted 11,960 delegates and were all held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre), Malaysia’s premier award-winning purpose-built AIPC (International Association of Congress Centres) Gold Standard venue. The organizer of the Labelexpo Global Series of trade shows, Tarsus Group, has unveiled a new portfolio of events targeting the branded print market, which aim to connect the whole print supply chain.         There are four Brand Print events planned: Brand Print Thailand – Bangkok; Brand Print Turkey – Istanbul; Brand Print China – Guangzhou; and Brand Print Mexico – Mexico City.
