epIQ Acquires Community Leaders Institute to Benefit Event Marketers

September 7, 2022

Creating year-round community engagement has become one of the most important marketing goals for event professionals, and epIQ Creative Group, a marketing agency producing multi-channel systems that drive demand to brands, is aiming to help them achieve it through its latest acquisition.

The company has purchased Community Leaders Institute (CLI), a member-based organization representing thousands of community professionals, including those in the events industry, and plans to create new and exciting opportunities for members to engage and grow.

“CLI, as the foremost independent organization representing community professionals, affords its members amazing opportunities to shine a light on the value these professionals bring to the marketing ecosystem," says Bill McGlade, president of epIQ. "We remain diligent in our efforts to continue bringing forth the value of communities while investing in the future and the ever-changing marketing industry.”

Measuring and validating the efforts and effectiveness of community leaders and their members will be one of the key benefits of the new alliance, according to Scott Lebwohl, executive vice president of Glenmore Industries, which is the parent company of CLI and epIQ.

“With our progressive approach to metrics, engagement and education, we strongly believe we’re the vanguard of the next evolution in collecting and reporting these member-based and value-driven goals,” Lebwohl said. “Being able to tap into crowd-sourced, real-time analytics and sentiment within each tailored cohort and subset is the business intelligence dream we’re bringing to reality.”

He added, “epIQ is the ideal shepherd to take CLI to the next level and help CLI members be more successful.”
