Coex’s 2nd Vietnam International Baby & Kids fair, held June 11-14 at the Tan Binh Exhibition & Convention Center (TBECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, drew a record crowd and exhibitors.
There were 14,900 registered attendees at the show, making it the event with the biggest number of visitors at TBECC. If including the accompanying family members, the total attendance is to reach 34,000.

Messe Duesseldorf has made plans to participate in the AACC Clinical Lab Expo 2015 in order to promote its worldwide program of international medical trade fairs

Asia was one of the major highlights of the 18th edition of Vinexpo 2015 in Bordeaux, and plans are well underway for the upcoming editions of the exhibition: Vinexpo Hong-Kong (May 24-26, 2016) and Vinexpo Tokyo (Nov. 15-16, 2016).

ibtm world, previously EIBTM, an event for the meeting and events industry, has announced that applications are now open for the Technology and Innovation Watch 2015 Award (previously known as the Technology Watch award).
Graeme Barnett, senior exhibition director, ibtm world, who announced the opening of the Technology and Innovation Watch 2015 at the Event Tech Lab, which took place as part of London Tech Week, said, “This new all-encompassing name for this award illustrates its evolution, recognising the importance of both innovation and technology within the industry.”

The battlefield of news publishing on mobile devices is heating up. After Google and Facebook, Apple is the next tech giant to enter the business of serving trending news to mobile audiences.
Launched recently at the Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple's all-new News app has been designed to deliver a rich news reading experience to users. According to Apple, 'News' will be available with iOS 9 this fall for iPhone and iPad, and it'll combine the visually rich layout of a magazine with the immediacy and customization of digital media.

The 2015 edition of Imabari Maritime Fair (Bari-Ship) recorded growth in both exhibitor and visitor numbers. Organised by UBM Japan, a subsidiary of UBM plc, the show hosted 313 exhibiting companies from 17 countries and regions, an increase of 33% from the previous edition.
Bari-Ship was held from 21st to 23rd May 2015 at Texport Imabari in Imabari City, Japan. UBM reported the addition of a new exhibition area this year to welcome the attendance of 9,042 trade visitors.

This year’s ISH China & CIHE – China International Trade Fair for Sanitation, Heating, Ventilation & Air-Conditioning – concluded last month drawing a record-breaking 1,119 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions – an increase of 12% from 2014. The three-day show ran from 13th to 15th May at Beijing’s New China International Exhibition Center (NCIEC).

International exhibition organiser, Koelnmesse, concluded its THAIFEX – World of Food Asia 2015 last month, with record number of visitors. Running from 20th to 24th May at IMPACT Exhibition Center, the five-day trade show attracted more than 35,000 trade visitors, of those, 7,274 were from overseas.

The inaugural edition of Seatrade Cruise Asia has been postponed to a later date as a result of the MERS virus outbreak in Korea according to the organiser and UBM subsidiary, Seatrade Communications. The two-day trade show was scheduled to take place at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Centre from 11th to 12th June.
