Summer Fancy Food Show Summer Fancy Food Show started in 1954 and is the largest trade show in North America devoted exclusively to specialty foods and beverages. The show relocated to Washington, D.C. from its longtime New York City home at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in 2011 and 2012 while the Javits Center was undergoing a renovation. The show returns to New York City in June, 2013 and is expected to exceed the strong numbers of 2010 when it was last in New York.
