ASAE launches the call for association professionals and industry partners to apply for open positions on the ASAE and the ASAE Foundation Board of Directors to help lead the association dedicated to furthering the profession of association management.
There are six open positions: Secretary-Treasurer and five At Large Directors (four At Large and one Industry Partner). All directors selected will serve on the ASAE Board, and two of the four selected will also serve on the ASAE Foundation Board.

Mandalay Bay Convention Center and UBM Join Forces to Develop Sustainable, Energy Efficient Lighting

With better than expected results, GES closed out not only the fourth quarter of 2017 with a revenue jump of 6.8 percent, but also an increase of its full-year results, with top line growth up 7.4 percent.

The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) has selected global design and consultancy firm, Arcadis, to oversee a capital improvements construction program to enhance four of MCCA’s convention and event facilities.

International exhibition organiser, Messe Stuttgart’s Chinese subsidiary in Nanjing, the Nanjing Stuttgart Joint Exhibition (Messe Nanjing) appointed Hans Stoter as its new managing director, effective 1st January 2018.
Hans Stoter was previously managing director of Koelnmesse China and he has over 18 years of experience working in management positions in the Chinese trade fair industry. Last week, Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter concluded its 49th edition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), attracting some 14,000 buyers from 76 countries and regions.
Running from 15th to 18th January, Fashion Week is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). Approximately 1,400 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions showcased a wide variety of fashion products.
