UBM Asia’s Water Philippines Expo
UBM Asia’s Water Philippines Expo was held this week at the SMX Convention Center in Manila. The three-day event ran from the 25th to 27th March and featured the water and wastewater industry’s latest services, technologies and equipment. The event also included a conference, Water Philippines 2015, which featured the theme: “Securing, Shaping and Greening our Water Future Through Innovation”.
UBM Asia reported that the exhibition and supporting conference attracted more than 330 companies from 28 countries and territories – an approximately 15% increase over the previous edition. Water Philippines, the 3rd edition of the event, is expected to attract more than 7,000 trade visitors. Key international pavilions include representatives from the United States, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea and China.
Water Philippines was also supported by a variety of government agencies and trade bodies including: the Philippine Water Works Association (PWWA), the Philippine Society of Sanitary Engineers and the Philippines Society of United Master Plumbers.
General Tan Sri Dato Seri Panglima Mohd Azumi, Co-Chairman of UBM ASEAN commented, “UBM as the organiser, is committed in seeing the growth of Water Philippines in providing not just market solutions to water technologies, but also the intellectual solutions to policy makers and regulators.”
