The 2013 edition of the Asia Adult Expo (AEE) will expand into an additional hall at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) this summer due to the increased demand. Organised by Hong Kong-based exhibition organiser, Vertical Expo, the adult products and services show will run from 29th to 31st August.

i2i Events Group announced the launch of a new Shanghai edition to its Coil Winding, Insulation and Electrical Manufacturing Exhibitions (CWIEME) portfolio of events, CWIEME Shanghai. The event will take place at the Shanghai International Exhibition Centre (INTEX) from 3rd to 5th March 2014.

The National Confectioners Association’s Sweets & Snacks Expo, held May 21-23 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, not only snagged a 10-percent increase in attendees, but also the number of new exhibitors rose 17 percent and the showfloor grew 9 percent, compared with the 2012 event.

In April, the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia issued RFPs for the management and operation of the venue, and West Conshohocken, Penn.-based SMG prevailed as the winner of the lucrative five-year contract.
The venue’s board first voted 13-2 to privatize the center and 12-3 to give the contract to SMG.

The 2013 NACS (National Association of Convenience Stores) Show will feature a 392,000 net square foot exposition, which will make it the largest NACS Show expo ever.
This year’s NACS Show will take place Oct. 12-15 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. A total of 1,050 companies are exhibiting at the 2013 NACS Show - 150-plus companies are first-time exhibitors.
