11,500+ Buyers Visit HKTDC’s Medical Fair
The week, Hong Kong International Medical Devices and Supplies Fair (Medical Fair) concluded at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The exhibition attracted over 11,500 buyers from 70 countries and regions. That represents a 6.7% increase over last year.
Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and co-organised by the Hong Kong Medical and Healthcare Device Industries Association (HKMHDIA), the Medical Fair ran from 7th to 9th May and featured a record of 280 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions. The fair is designed to provide a one-stop business platform for the medical and healthcare industry, where exhibitors showcase the latest medical equipment, technology and related services in 18 thematic zones during the three-day fair.
HKTDC Deputy Executive Director Benjamin Chau, stated, “The Hong Kong International Medical Devices and Supplies Fair provides a leading business and sourcing platform for buyers, showcasing a wide variety of medical and healthcare products and services as well as breakthrough technologies… Increasing health awareness is driving the continual growth of the global medical equipment and supplies market.”
