The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will open trade fairs addressing the electronics and lighting industries later this month.
The 37th Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and the 21st electronicAsia will be held from 13th to 16th October at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), while the 19th Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) will also take place at the HKCEC, from 27th to 30th October. The Second Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo will run from 26th to 29th October at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE). The electronicAsia event is jointly organised by the HKTDC and MMI Asia. The others are organised by the HKTDC.
According to the HKTDC, the Electronics Fair and electronicAsia will feature close to 4,300 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions. To back the HKSAR government’s policy of supporting start-ups, the Electronics Fair will once again feature the Startup Zone with close to 100 start-ups – double last year’s number. The Lighting Fair will have a record 2,670 exhibitors from 38 countries and regions with first time exhibitors from Denmark and South Africa. The Outdoor & Tech Light Expo will feature over 400 exhibitors from Hong Kong, China, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan. The fair will be held concurrently with Eco Expo Asia.
