Singapore EXPO opens MAX Atria
The Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Centre has announced the official opening of MAX Atria, a US$44 million purpose-built MICE venue managed by Singex Venues Pte Ltd. Designed with sustainability in mind, the venue will reportedly consume 30% less energy each year compared to a conventionally designed building of the same size.
The new 12,700 square meters convention wing offers complimentary Wi-Fi access and is located at the site of Singapore EXPO. Featuring 32 column-free rooms with a garden courtyard and rooftop space, MAX Atria is capable to hold over 3,500 delegates and is configurable for meetings, conferences, banquets, light exhibitions and product launches.
CEO of Singex Group, Aloysius Arlando, said, “The opening of MAX Atria caters to a growing trend of integrated event platforms, be they co-located exhibitions, conferences, symposia, workshops or product launches. This customisation allows organisers not only to enjoy versatile options in personalising the event experience, but to maximise their return on investment (ROI).”
