She added. “The buyers’ profile at the June Fair is becoming even more international. We saw a notable attendance of buyers from South America, such as Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Panama. The number of Canadian buyers and those from the United States also increased this year.”

The four-day event showcased a wide array of jewelry items in 56,000 square meters of exhibition space. In addition, more than 1,500 exhibitors from 37 countries and regions participated, a 24-percent increase, compared with last year’s event, also a record for the show.

He added, “The fair's continued growth in exhibition space and in the number of exhibitors and visitors affirms the business value this fair offers to the jewelry industry.”

The show also received high marks from exhibitors. “We’ve been to this fair for more than 10 times,” said Fredy Hui, representative of F&A Import & Export in Australia. “It is an important mid-year fair for sourcing merchandise for the fall season.”

Elin Li, director of E & CO Jewellery Pte Ltd in Singapore, added, “We have been participating in this fair for more than 10 years. This is an important mid-year fair because it brings us great opportunities to expand our business and meet lots of new customers from around the world, such as the Philippines and Malaysia.
