Roomer Online Marketplace Partners with BOB.tv

October 18, 2014

Roomer (www.roomertravel.com), the online marketplace where consumers can sell their nonrefundable hotel rooms to buyers at a reduced price, has partnered with BOB.tv, an online platform where business professionals can view industry-specific content to benefit themselves and their companies.

BOB.tv and its event platform, Events.BOB.tv will provide its meeting and event planners with insight on Roomer, and the Roomer Partner Network, to maximize profitability for those responsible for booking group hotel reservations.

The Roomer Partner Network is a strategic cost effective initiative that simplifies group and business travel by acting as a solution for attrition, as it helps fill cancelled or open rooms that were previously reserved.

With this partnership, BOB.tv will feature a Roomer widget, as well as an informational Roomer video on its website, to serve as a technology solution provider to all meeting and event planners.

This beneficial partnership will continue to build Roomer’s brand awareness within the hospitality industry, as well as further its user base.

“As we continue to sustain and develop our presence within the meeting and event planning industry, we are pleased to announce our partnership with such an innovative online platform for business professionals around the globe,” said Richie Karaburun, US managing director of Roomer.

He added, “Clients of BOB.tv who are faced with unoccupied hotel rooms for future events, will now be familiarized with an effective solution to avoid attrition.”

"The innovation underway at Roomer is the solution that the meeting and event planning industry has been looking for, to eliminate the challenge of room attrition,” said Tony Lorenz, co-founder and CEO of bXb Group, a company which includes BOB.tv amongst its holdings.

He added, “At scale, a mashup of the B2B and B2C marketplace around hotel rooms is an idea whose time has come, and as we are big fans of ideas that create positive change, Roomer is amongst the core solutions that will change our marketplace for the better.”
