Raccoon Events Set to Launch National Running Show in Boston in 2022

Raccoon Events will be expanding its award-winning U.K.-based National Running Show series to the United States.

The first in a series of Run Show USA events will take place Jan. 29-30, 2022, in Boston at the Hynes Convention Center.

The two-day event, planned to be 75,000 square feet, will play host to some of the most inspirational faces from the world of running, including Carl Lewis, Dean Karnazes, Susie Chan, Kelly Roberts, Camille Herron and Lazarus Lake, who will lead a packed schedule of inspirational and educational talks on the Inspiration Stage.

There also will be practical advice and training tips from a wide range of experts in the Running Skills Theatre, providing new and experienced runners with information and advice to get started or advance their running ability.

He added, “We believe that now is the perfect time to launch our events into new markets, and we are well poised to take advantage of the increased interest in health and wellbeing that has been generated during lockdown. The Run Show USA is the first step on an exciting journey, and we look forward (to taking) this award-winning brand to runners in Boston.”

The two-year-old U.K.-based show has won a slew of awards, including "Best Consumer Show Launch Winner " - AEO Awards; "Best Launch Winner" - EN Indy Awards; and "Best Show Winner" - EN Indy Awards 2019.

Raccoon Events also runs the National Outdoor Expo Birmingham and The National Snow Show.
