How are event planners incorporating wellness speakers into their events? One corporate event planner who attended the Global Wellness Summit told us they’re offering wellness tracks, in addition to industry-specific education tracks. Another meeting planner said they’re offering guided meditations and mindful breathing to help attendees reduce stress and refresh their energy before some sessions.

Who spoke at the Global Wellness Summit and what did they share? Here are five wellness speakers to consider for your next event.

Director of Body and Brain Wellness Dami Kim shared practices for connecting body and mind to promote creativity. She taught attendees about the “water up, fire down” technique for promoting optimal energy levels, cognitive function and overall well-being. Watch this video on how to do it.

Coordinated Response on Wellness (CROW) Practice Founder and Owner Kristine Iverson discussed strategies for keeping calm during chaos. She walked attendees through the spiral technique, which uses a thought ladder to promote an upward vs. downward spiral of thoughts.

Author, speaker and former monk Pandit Dasa talked about creating a mindful and positive workplace culture. When it comes to mindful communication with co-workers, consider: what you’re saying, how you are saying it, the impact it will have and how it will affect your relationships.

A Million Dreams Founder Nolan Nichols presented ideas for infusing more moments of wonder and celebration into your lives. As a Fortune 500 speaker and a seasoned team leader and storyteller for prominent brands, Nolan specializes in interactive, engaging keynotes and workshops that focus on increasing workplace belonging and personal and professional well-being.

Dawn of the Earth Founder Sepideh Eivazi taught the group about the Emotional Freedom Technique Tapping, which involves tapping acupuncture points on the hands, face and body with your fingertips, and guided a session on somatic breathing, a conscious breathing that technique that allows your body and mind to get more oxygen.
