June 27, 2018

Holistic events cloud, Bizzabo, which enables B2B events throughout the globe, has processed more than $100 million in gross paid registrations for its customers, with $47 million of the total ticket sales taking place in the past six months alone.

The company’s major growth milestone also coincides with recent news that Bizzabo has exceeded annual recurring revenue by more than 200 percent in size over the past year, demonstrating growth both in the company and the market demand for its Events Cloud, designed to manage professional events from end-to-end.

“Marketing leaders continue to recognize that professional events hold tremendous value for engaging prospective and current customers, establishing thought leadership, as well as driving revenue,” said Eran Ben-Shushan, co-founder and CEO of Bizzabo.

He continued, “More marketing dollars are going into professional events than ever before, across a wide range of industries and on a global scale. Running successful events is complex and stressful. Modern cloud-based software makes it dramatically easier to run, measure and optimize events.”

The top markets contributing to Bizzabo’s $100 million in total ticket sales include the U.S., the U.K., Australia and Canada, while the types of events that currently represent the most revenue-driving events include Conferences & Conventions at 36 percent; Meeting & Networking Events at 24 percent, followed by Classes & Workshops at 18 percent.

Since launching in 2012, Bizzabo has enabled thousands of events attended by a million event-goers spanning a wide variety of industry verticals, according to Bizzabo officials.

According to company research, technology organizations are processing the most event registration revenue at 26 percent; Services, Education and Media at 12 percent each; and Financial/Banking at 9 percent, Events at 9 percent and Non-Profits at 5 percent.

Bizzabo’s Event Success platform offers marketers the means to create rewarding face-to-face experiences through a streamlined set of tools for event marketing, analytics, automation and personalization, critical features that enable organizations to produce, measure and improve their events.

Key features enable organizers to build websites, manage event registration, sell tickets, grow communities through onsite networking, and event apps - all within a cloud-based, user-friendly platform.
