April 6, 2013

The 3rd edition of the Beijing International Emergency Rescue Expo (ERE China), an event dedicated to advancing the Chinese emergency rescue industry, continues to receive positive industry support.

The event, co-organized by E.J. Krause & Associates and authorized by the Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China, has gained backing from several organizations, such as the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, National Security and Emergency Rescue Command Center, Equipment & Finance Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, P.R. China, China Marine Search and Rescue Center, and the China Offshore Oil Spill Emergency Center, among others.

Most recently, The International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), which has more than 5,000 members worldwide, announced its support for ERE China and will collocate the IAEM Asia Annual Meeting during the event.

“IAEM has been active in China for several years and continues to expand its membership base and outreach in Asia,” said Ellis Stanley, global chairman of IAEM.

He added, ERE provides a platform to continue to grow IAEM education, training, and networking resources, with the Certified Emergency Manager designations (CEM and AEM) soon to follow. We believe ERE is an important conference and exhibition for companies from around the globe to participate in.”

Ned Krause, CEO of E.J. Krause & Associates, said, “we are delighted to be working with IAEM the world’s most respected organization for emergency managers.”

IAEM is the largest organization promoting the importance of emergency management and those professionals who are committed to saving lives, protecting property and the environment during emergencies and disasters.

Collocating IAEM’s Asia Annual Meeting with ERE China will bring together key senior level emergency managers from all over the world, according to show organizers.

In addition, there will be an IAEM Pavilion comprised of member companies on the exhibit floor. Senior officials from IAEM will provide an overview of emergency management training and certification for Chinese emergency management personnel.

ERE China will take place Sept. 16-18 at the National Agricultural Exhibition Center in Beijing.
