6 Dallas Venues Sure to Dazzle Your Clients
Dallas is home to some of the most impressive meeting spaces in Texas. The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas is rated one of the top convention centers in the nation, and many Dallas hotels are well-equipped to host outstanding events of all sizes. But if you are looking for something truly unique, Dallas has plenty of that, too.
Here are a few of our favorites:
The Eyeball Lawn at the Joule
Located in the heart of Downtown Dallas, across the street from the luxurious Joule hotel, you’ll find a larger-than-life eye sculpture by Tony Tasset. The sculpture resides on a lush green lawn surrounded by cityscape views, perfect for events of all sizes.
Arlington Hall
Built in 1939 and modeled after one of the most spectacular mansions in the south, this sprawling meeting space has hosted everyone from former President Franklin D. Roosevelt to musician Stevie Ray Vaughan. The large hall can host events for up to 500 guests. For an under-the-stars event, there is a 15-acre lawn, an intimate formal garden and two terraces.
The Factory in Deep Ellum
Dallas’ Deep Ellum neighborhood is all about live music and nightlife, and the funky neighborhood’s premiere venue is the 50,000-sq.-ft. The Factory in Deep Ellum. With room for more than 4,000 guests, the Factory Ballroom can accommodate everything from fashion shows to trade shows. Your guests will feel like rock stars as they share the same stage that the Dave Matthews Band and The Ramones have played.
Reunion Tower
Located 500 feet above the city, Reunion Tower offers amazing views and unique event space. At Cloud 9 Café, the floor rotates 360 degrees every hour, giving everyone in your group a chance to enjoy Dallas’ impressive skyline views. Located one floor below, the observation deck, GeO-Deck, can be rented for private events. It’s a unique place to network and explore Dallas through the tower’s powerful telescopes and high-def zoom cameras.
Perot Museum of Nature and Science
Where else can your guests race against a T. Rex, attend a private screening of a 3-D National Geographic documentary and marvel at life-sized dinosaur fossils - all while toasting and dining with colleagues and new friends? Give your guests reign of the entire Perot Museum of Nature and Science for a night they'll never forget.
Terry Black’s BBQ
Barbecue is its own food group in Texas, but instead of catering barbecue to your meeting, why not bring your meeting to the barbecue? Terry Black’s BBQ in Deep Ellum offers a great array of Texas barbecue, as well as event space for groups of all sizes.
