SmartSource Tapped as Official AV Partner for IAEE’s Expo! Expo! 2019

May 22, 2019

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events has selected business and event technology provider SmartSource Computer & Audio Visual Rentals as the official audiovisual services contractor for Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition 2019, the association’s annual trade show and conference for exhibition and event industry professionals.

At Expo! Expo!, which is set for Dec. 3-5 at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, SmartSource will provide audiovisual equipment and production, digital signage and computer equipment. It will contract directly with exhibitors to incorporate its wide array of event and meeting technologies, according to SmartSource officials.

“SmartSource is honored to expand our long-standing relationship with IAEE to demonstrate our A/V production and various technology solutions at Expo! Expo! 2019,” said Craig Sukenic, vice president of sales and marketing for SmartSource, an ABCOM Technology Group company.

He added, “We are excited to partner with the association to promote their event vision along with their continued advocacy for the unique value of the exhibitions and events industry.”

According to IAEE officials, due to the nature of IAEE’s role within the exhibitions and events industry, the association is obligated to provide ongoing opportunities for companies to showcase, highlight and introduce innovative new products and services. Thus, IAEE institutes an RFP process for all service areas on a recurring basis.

With guidance and input from IAEE committees and task forces, IAEE staff select service providers by evaluating key elements including customer service, innovation, technology, relevant experience, references, availability and capacity. The call for RFPs is announced publicly through IAEE websites and publications, providing an opportunity for all interested parties to participate.

“We are pleased to partner with SmartSource in providing attendees with an engaging and unforgettable Expo! Expo! experience this December in Las Vegas,” said David DuBois, president and CEO of IAEE, known as the world’s largest association of the exhibitions and events industry.
