More than 60 leading suppliers have confirmed they will showcase the newest personal care ingredients within the popular Innovation Zone when it returns to in-cosmetics Asia in Bangkok this November.

The specialist zone is designed to help R&D professionals easily identify and stay up to date with the most exciting raw material and ingredient technology launches which could inspire future formulations.

Many of the world’s top personal care ingredient suppliers have already confirmed their participation including; Croda, Ashland Singapore Pte Ltd, Clariant (Thailand) Ltd, Evonik Nutrition & Care GmbH, Codif TN and Lubrizol Southeast Asia Pte Ltd. In total, more than 80 new innovations will be on show, all of which have been launched in the eight months prior.

Several companies have also confirmed they will unveil brand-new products at the Innovation Zone this year, literally giving visitors to in-cosmetics Asia an exclusive first look at the industry’s hottest new launches.

Ingredients set to be displayed at the Innovation Zone include Styleze ES-1 from Ashland – a naturally-derived polymer that provides improved durability and delivers voluminous style for bouncy, defined waves and curls. It is suitable for a variety of styling formulations including aerosol and non-aerosol mousses, combing creams, and styling gels/creams.

Croda will present its Infraveil IT-100. Based on patented dispersion technology, the active ingredient acts as a physical shield that delivers instant skin protection from Infrared-A (IRA) rays and prevents the signs of IR-ageing. Elsewhere, Evonik Nutrition & Care GmbH will showcase its functional ingredient, TEGO® SP 13 Sun Up – a smart polymer with a dry feel sensory additive that enables the formulation of effective and cost-efficient sun care formulations.

With so many novel ingredients on display, a select number of exhibitors will also provide sample formulations, enabling R&D professionals to test the quality and application of the ingredients first-hand, and identify which products are most suitable for their specific requirements.

Elsewhere in the Innovation Zone, the Mintel Beauty & Personal Care team will reveal innovative finished products through a series of live demonstrations on the topic of Powering the Mind: Innovations for Asia-Pacific’s Cerebral Age. Taking place twice daily, Mintel will focus on two specific areas: play and rest. Visitors can see, touch and be inspired by some of the most innovative beauty and personal care launches.

in-cosmetics Asia will take place at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Asia's premier exhibition and convention centre Nov. 5-7.
