The International Association of Exhibitions and Events has added another new chapter in Asia, the IAEE India Chapter.

The IAEE Board of Directors approved the creation of this new chapter during its meeting, held March 31 at the HITEX Exhibition Center in Hyderabad, India.

He added, “We have been met this week with great enthusiasm about our member benefits and CEM Learning Program, and it is very rewarding to see the expansion of our global impact."

In addition, IAEE’s CEM Learning Program added 30 graduates from India as certified in exhibition management professionals.

Launched in October of 2015 as part of its agreement with the Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA), final classes were taught this week by 2016 IAEE Chairperson Julia Smith, CEM, CTA, senior vice president of National Sales at Global Experience Specialists, and IAEE Board Member Bob McLean, CPA, executive vice president, Promotional Products Association International.

The CEM Learning Program currently is offered in the United States, Brazil, Canada, China, Dubai, India, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan and Thailand.
