Freeman Teams With Speaker and Content Management Platform Sessionboard to Offer Robust Event Lifecycle Management

March 3, 2023

Freeman, a leading global event producer, and Sessionboard, a next-generation SaaS provider, announced a strategic partnership that provides Freeman customers with enhanced speaker and content management technology solutions.

The partnership is a testament to Freeman's mission to redefine live for a new era, whether virtual, in-person or hybrid, with a data-driven approach and the industry's largest network of experts, and Sessionboard's quest to simplify the complex workflows and disjointed communications that exist around speaker and content management.

“Partnerships like this one will allow us to provide a complete solution for event content and speaker presentation management — from the first call for papers all the way to the stage," said Paul Fletcher, executive vice president, audio visual and event technology operations at Freeman. "And as we add Sessionboard capabilities to our offering, our customers can expect the same outstanding event management expertise from a single team and contract.”

Working with Freeman is a huge validator of Sessionboard's commitment and focus on helping organizers with such critical aspects of successful events, according to Chris Carver, co-founder and CEO of Sessionboard.

"This partnership will bring more exposure of this technology to organizers, saving them hundreds of hours per event, increasing their ROI and driving engagement throughout the year,” Carver said. “We’ve made it our mission to focus on innovating in the areas [of speakers and content], while integrating and partnering with the best organizations and solutions in the industry, so it’s an honor that Freeman would choose us as their preferred speaker and abstract management partner."

When integrated with Freeman’s existing event management solutions, such as Freeman’s Presentation Management, event organizers will have a seamless, end-to-end event approach for speaker management. And through the partnership, Freeman customers will continue to benefit from 95-years of event management expertise integrated with the efficiency of a top-notch digital management platform.

With Sessionboard's new offering through Freeman, conference organizers will have a robust set of pre-planning tools for easily defining agendas, scoring speaker proposals, and managing communication with speakers. Applications include call for papers, awards, applications and surveys, abstract evaluation, agenda management, and speaker onboarding and communication.
