Crédit Agricole Assurances Plans to Take Charterhouse Capital Stake in Comexposium

Crédit Agricole Assurances has entered into exclusive discussions with Charterhouse Capital Partners with a view to acquiring its stake in the Comexposium group.

Crédit Agricole Assurances, which will thus become the long-term partner of the group's historical shareholder, the Paris-Île-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and of the group’s managers, wishes to support Comexposium in its strategy and continuing expansion.

“Since 2015, Charterhouse was a good financial partners to us,” said Comexposium President Renaud Hamaide.

He added, "During this time, we were able to accelerate our growth, especially internationally, strengthening our position as a leading global events organizer. We are looking forward to having another positive shareholder relationship with Crédit Agricole Assurances (CAA), and of course, continuing to work well with our long-term shareholder, the Paris Chamber of Commerce (CCIR).”

Comexposium has 67 event brands, covering 11 business sectors, including events such as: SIAL, Intermat, Paris International Agricultural Show, SIMA and Foire de Paris.
