Clarion Events Asia Partners with PT Adhouse Indonesia CIPTA

March 20, 2018

Clarion Events Asia, part of the global Clarion Events Group – a leading event organiser, producing and delivering innovative and cutting-edge events since 1947 – today announced that they have formed PT Adhouse Clarion Events (PT ACE), a joint-venture between Clarion Events and PT Adhouse Indonesia CIPTA, a local organiser whose events include Indonesia Properti Expo (IPEX), the largest bi-annual property show in Indonesia.

With each edition attracting more than 260 exhibitors and 340,000 visitors during a 10-day period, IPEX is the preferred platform for Indonesians to purchase a home and secure advantageous mortgage rates.

Through PT ACE, Clarion Events looks to establish a strong foothold in Indonesia to position its offering of global brands to the world’s 4th most populous country.

“The combination of Adhouse’s strong relationships and long history of successful events makes them an ideal partner with whom Clarion Events Asia can further its commitment to the region” said Richard Ireland, managing director of Clarion Events Asia. “We are excited to be part of the country’s economic transformation efforts that will see this vibrant nation of 280 million become the 5th largest economy by 2030.”

He added, “We are especially grateful to Soedirman Zakaria, president director of Adhouse, whose efforts over the last 30 years have built the annual gatherings into the market-leading events that they are today. This partnership will allow the joint-venture to cater to the fast-growing Indonesian market with world-leading event brands and embark with Adhouse on the next chapter of their success story.”

Zakaria said, “A partnership was formed with Clarion Events Pte Ltd (Asia) to enable us to foray into the B2B events market and to develop our business into this exciting space.”

He added, “This new collaboration with Clarion Events Asia could not have come at a better time as Indonesia and its economy enters a new phase, fuelled by industry-led growth and the ambition to compete with the world’s leading economies. Clarion Events, with its global reach and diversified expertise into a number of industry-leading events, will open up profitable new avenues for our business and access to a new base of clients we are looking forward to cater to in Indonesia .”

To augment the offering to the industry, PT ACE will introduce a number of B2B conferences and large-scale exhibitions during the course of the next two years.

“We look forward to complement Adhouse’s offer to the real estate industry and other market segments with cutting edge content and international expertise from around the world, so that we may help to shine a brighter spotlight on the attractive opportunities available in Indonesia for international investors,” Ireland said.
