300 Exhibitors at Inaugural Mumbai Jewellery & Gem Fair

UBMsubsidiary, UBM India, announced more than 300 exhibitors and between 8,000 and 10,000 visitors will be present at its inaugural Mumbai Jewellery & Gem Fairthis year. The three-day event will be held in December at the Bombay Exhibition Centre(BEC).

The Mumbai Jewellery & Gem Fair will be the third jewellery related trade show for UBM’s portfolio in India following the Gem & Jewellery India International Exhibition(GJIIE) in Chennai and the Hyderabad Jewellery, Pearl & Gem Fair(HJF). The first edition of the jewellery fair will feature international pavilions from various countries and regions including Antwerp, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Sri Lanka, Japan and Thailand. Supporting industry associations includes the All India Gems & Jewellery Trade Federation (GJF) and the Mumbai Wholesale Gold Jewellers Association.

Managing director of UBM India, Sanjeev Khaira, said, “The support from all major jewellery trade associations in India is very encouraging, and good participation is expected from their members. Taking advantage of UBM Asia’s powerful database of buyers and of intensive global promotion at its key trade fairs and in major publications, the fair aims to draw a huge number of potential buyers from India and overseas.”
